Justice Nagendra Kumar Jain, born on October 20, 1942, in Alwar, his father shifted to Jaipur in 1949. He was the top -seeded in juniors in National's in 1955 and represented Rajasthan from 1955 to 1968 and in veteran 1978. He went to England with National Badminton team at Birmingham as Observer. He visited 21 countries. He enrolled as an advocate on January 26, 1968 and become Member of the Bar Council of Rajasthan from 1971 to 1990 and Chairman in 1985 there after became member Bar Council of Indian from 1986 to 1990 and Member Bar Council India Trust.
He was also Executive Member, Bar Association of India. He was also Member General Council, Executive Council and Academic Council of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore till elevation.
In 1990, Justice Jain was appointed a judge of the Rajasthan High Court. After 7 years he was transferred to the Madras High Court remain four years and two years as Chief Justice. Then he was transferred to the Karnataka High Court and served as Chief Justice for three years till retire on 19 October 2004.
After retirement, Justice Jain was appointed as Chairperson of Human Rights. Commission & Additional Charge of Lokayukta Himachal Pradesh and than as Chairman of the Rajasthan Human Rights Commission for 5 years from July 2005 to 2010. He was. president of Digamber Jain Atisya Kethra Shri Mahaveer Ji 2011 to 2014, Geeta Bajaj Bal Mandir July 2015 till 2020.
Justice Jain has written 31 books for legal awareness and can be read on www.justicenagendrakjain.com website. Some of these books have been republished by schools and institutions to raise public awareness about Human Rights and Justice, reflecting the enduring impact of his work.
Justice Jain was declared as best sports man in school, Maharaja College, Rajasthan University and Jodhpur University with numerous awards. His dedication to public service, both in and out of the courtroom, earned him numerous accolades, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot.
Justice Jain is a multifaceted personality. He has been involved with organizations such as Mahaveer Ji, ISKCON and the Vivekananda Memorial Kendra, Kanya Kumari and number of local NGO's promoting spiritual and social well-being. His diverse contributions, from law and Human Rights to Badminton and Spirituality, have left a lasting legacy that continues to influence future generations.
